Sweet sweet Gma Dorothy! We will miss you deeply. You were always such a happy and loving lady who we loved very much. We will cherish all the memories that we share.

I had the pleasure of being on the faculty of Brenham High School with Dorothy for many years. She was a great teacher and a pleasure to work with.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Family at this time.

Mrs. Schroeder was my reading teacher in junior high. We had so much fun in her class and she was a great teacher. She was always so kind and gracious whenever we saw each other around town or at church. I will miss her.

I was fortunate to be one of her students. She was a great teacher! But I learned more than Spanish through her ability to work with young people. She was always gracious and beautiful. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Thank you for making learning fun, and also those Thanksgiving parties!

Rod, Janet and all the Burches,

Dorothy taught me Spanish from the 5th grade - the 8th grade. She was always my favorite teacher and made learning Spanish fun! I was fortunate to know her all of my life through Bonnie and St. Peter's and through the years, we became great friends. She will always have a special place in my heart for her inspiration and influence on my life. What a great testament she was as a teacher and a friend. May light perpetual shine upon her and may her soul and all the souls of the departed rest in peace.
