Obituary
Eddie Kaminski, 71 of Brenham and a resident of Trinity Care Center, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005 in Trinity Medical Center.
He was born October 7, 1934 to Tony and Annie (Gurka) Kaminski. Eddie was a life long member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where he also attended the Catholic School. He enjoyed watching airplanes and trains. Eddie loved polka music and was known for his singing “Oh La La”, “How Much is that Doggie in the Window”, “Tinker Polka” and “Wooden Hearts” with The Serenaders.
Survivors include: sister Eva Surrett of Brenham and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Eddie was preceded in death by: parents, brother and sister-in-law, J. T. and Ruby Kaminski; sisters and brothers-in-law, Konda and Kenneth Levien, Francis and Jackie Sheehan, Richard Surrett; nephew, Richard “Boogie” Surrett; and niece, Clara Mae Surrett.
A rosary will be recited Monday, December 5, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Bill Januszewski in Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Miguel Duarte as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Smith, Marvin Surrett, Mike Leonard, Randy Reets, Coy Surrett and Ralph Beaudet. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Wesolick, Trevor Surrett, Amber Leonard, Mally Beaudet, Miyah Smith, Karen Smith and the Quick Mart Bunch.
Special thanks to the staff of Trinity Care Center and Trinity Medical Center who cared for Eddie.
