Edison Dale Anderson

Edison Dale Anderson of Wesley passed away in Brenham on April 26, 2012 after a brief illness.

Dale was born in Saratoga, Arkansas on September 30, 1924. After serving in the Army during World War II, he came to Houston where he was a longtime employee of Brown & Root, Inc.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Edith Anderson; daughter Rhonda Demel and husband Dennis; son Ron Anderson; brother-in-law Edward Moffett; grandchildren Katherine Demel, Monica Cable and husband Greg, Krista Moran and husband Gregg, Lauren Spriggs and husband Jason and Ryan Anderson; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Brenham Memorial Chapel from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.

Services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to the charity of your choice in Dale’s name.
