Edith Engle Marsh

Edith Frances Marsh, age 89 of Brenham, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2006 in Kruse Memorial Lutheran Village.

Mrs. Marsh was born March 26, 1916 in Canadian, Texas to Aaron and Emily (Parsell) Engle. Mrs. Marsh earned her Master’s Degree from Sul Ross University. She was a loving mother, devoted Christian and possessed a Pioneer Spirit. She is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Michael Dennis and Joyce Brown of Brenham; daughter, Emily Karen Reidel of Italy; two grandchildren, David Taylor Reidel and Kathryn Elizabeth White; sister, Jean Hoffman of Ft. Stockton; and three nephews, James Hoffman of Weatherford, Texas, Dr, David Hoffman of Waco and John Hoffman of Bellville.

In lieu of usual remembrances memorials may be given to: Alpine Presbyterian Church, Alpine High School Scholarship Fund or charity of your choice.

Interment will be Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Alpine City Cemetery, Alpine, Texas. A celebration of her life will follow at Alpine Presbyterian Church under the direction of Geeslin Funeral Home of Alpine.
