Bud - Mom (Midge Lubbock) sure enjoyed all of your visits and joke telling when she had her hair fixed on Thursdays! I'm glad I got to meet you as well as your sweet sweet Mom. You were so kind and loving.

Please know that I'm thinking of you in the "giving up" of having your Mom to tend to. It's a bittersweet experience for sure. Your Mom always had a smile on her face - she loved you and all of the walks around the facility.

May God comfort you and give you sweet memories to reflect on today and for always. We were fortunate to have our Moms for a long time.

Sincerely,
Phyllis - (Midge's daughter)

Edith always as now proved herself the strongest most stable of the Slater clan. She was always frank and honest and kind--rare combination of desirable personality traits--but she would wash your mouth if you didn't live up to her standards. Our love and respect and sympathy in the passing of Edith to Bud and Pat and all the fine Petersons and Aldredges kin to follow. Surviving to her 100th year Edith leaves a record none will soon match in terms of love and sacrifice and tolerance. We need her type now.

I have fond memories of Aunt Edith and Uncle Glenn. She was a lovely lady. So sorry for your loss.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss of this gracious, wonderful lady. I met her only twice but she made a big impression on me. Even in the last months she was still full of life with such a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss her!
