Obituary

Edmond J. Kaminski, 77, of Chappell Hill passed away Friday, January 18, 2008 in Trinity Medical Center.

Mr. Kaminski was born October 28, 1930 in the Chappell Hill Community of Washington County to Anton and Konstancia Bartkowiak Kaminski. He was a life-long member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. On November 15, 1952, he was married to Edwina Bibiann Bednarek in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church by Monsignor John Wesolek. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. For over 30 years, he was employed by National Flange Company as a foreman and inspector and also worked for South Coast Supply Company both in Houston. He was a member of the American Legion Buddy Wright Post #48 and Polish National Alliance. He loved his family and his church. He enjoyed gardening, raising cattle, dancing, polish music, playing the accordion and harmonica, playing dominoes and pitch.

His parents; brothers Willie, Stanley, Marion; sister Natalie Bednarek and two infant brothers preceded him in death.

Mr. Kaminski is survived by his loving family, wife Edwina Kaminski of Chappell Hill; children Barbara and Donald Walton of Hockley, Paul and Sandy Kaminski of Wesley, Chris and Tammy Kaminski of Chappell Hill, Kimberly Kaminski of Houston; grandchildren Kevin and Melissa Walton, Ashlea Kaminski and fiancé James Mathis, Josh Kaminski, Cody and Cori Kaminski; brothers Chester Kaminski and Alois Kaminski; sisters Mary Bartniski, Helen Nowak, Pearlie Nelson, Gertrude Paradowski; brother-in-law Stanley Bednarek; sister-in-law Natalie Kaminski; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2008.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2008 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill with Father Vincent Chacko and Father William Bartniski as con-celebrants. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Walton, Josh Kaminski, Cody Kaminski, Ed Bartniski, Thomas Kaminski and James Paradowski. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Nelson, John Kaminski, Mark Paradowski, Samuel Kaminski, Richard Kaminski, Daniel Nowak, Johnny Nowak, Mike Bartniski and Albert Bednarek.

Memorials may be given to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church or Brazos Valley Hospice.
