Obituary

Edward Patrick “Pat” O’Malley, 92 of Brenham, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 1, 2018, from 5 p.m. until Rosary begins at 7 p.m., at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with interment following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pat was born March 18, 1926, in Houston, Texas, the youngest of seven children, to Richard and Nellie (Scott) O’Malley. He was a graduate of Milby High School. Pat enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WW II.

In 1948, Pat married the love of his life, Audrey Dolores Duhon. They began dairy farming in Tomball. In 1950, Pat and Dolores moved to the Zionsville Community, where they operated the dairy for over 40 years.

Pat was strong in his faith, and an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was an Eucharistic minister and involved with Bible study groups.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dolores O’Malley and beloved son Patrick Edward O’Malley.

Surviving family includes: son Tommy O’Malley and friend Sharon Jasinski of Brenham; daughter-in-law Alice O’Malley; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Wayne Stolz of Washington; daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Ann O'Malley Morgan and Jerry Morgan of Brenham; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and H.D. “Trey” Schwarz III of Hempstead; grandchildren, Kenny and Stephanie O'Malley, Jennifer and David Farley, Elizabeth and Noah Sanco, Darren and Gina Stolz, Rhonda and Don Boeker, Kerri and Scott Kaste, Tracy and Greg Pittman, Amy and Dan Brink, Kacy and David Kuespert, Megan Wells, Andy and Ashton Randermann, Amanda Randermann, David Schwarz; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Watkins; sisters-in-law, Phyllis O’Malley and Fleta Mayes.

Pallbearers will be: Darren Stolz, Kenny O'Malley, Andy Randermann, David Schwarz, Don Boeker, David Farley, Scott Kaste, Greg Pittman, Noah Sanco, Dan Brink, David Kuespert and Buddy Mayes.

The O’Malley family wishes to thank caregivers Leann Stanton and Tammy Hudgen and faithful Eucharistic minister and friend David Chovanec.
