Elaine Sommers

I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful lady. I would like to express my deepest condolences to the entire family.

I was so sorry to hear of Elaine's passing. My parents, Burhl and Jimmi McClung, had been friends with Clyde and Elaine for many years. They attended the same church and played dominoes in a 42 club together. I know they enjoyed many happy times together. Elaine was so kind and I am happy that my mother and I visited Clyde and Elaine several years ago.

She was such a lovely person, touching more lives than she probably realized. She truly made a difference. Cherish your memories and continue her legacy.

My prayers are with Elaine's family. When I worked at Blinn Library in the 80s she was so nice to the staff. It didn't matter that we were not faculty, she was nice to everyone.

My condolences in the loss of your mother. Mrs. Sommers was one of best Algebra teacher in Brenham High School. May God comfort you in your loss.

I have known this lovely woman all of my life and she's always been such sweet, smart, clever - she will be missed but I'm so glad that my childhood included knowing her from First Baptist Church.
