I was shocked to hear about Betty. I had so much fun with her in school. We taught "down the hall" from each other. I could hear her laughing in my classroom, and that made me smile. Christmas has never been the same without her. The first order of business - when is our Language Arts Christmas party at Betty's. She will be missed.

I am sorry to hear about Betty. I worked with Betty at Mayde Creek Jr. High. I really enjoyed our visits. She was a Great educator. Betty was a teacher that was remembered. She will be missed.

I’m so saddened to hear this. What a wonderful teacher she was to me and so so many. I am now in my 15th year of Teaching and it’s because of teachers like her that molded me. I wish I would of know and run into her at the Rodeo, over the past 15 years. I’m also a life member and was on the salt grass trail ride as a kid. My family is very involved in the Rodeo and I’m sure I shared that with her when I was her student. Thanks for sharing your mom with me and I’m so happy to pay it forward.

I am so sorry to hear that Betty has passed. She was a warm and wonderful person. I enjoyed teaching with her for many years. She and Paul opened their home so many times for our annual Language Arts Christmas parties, and it was always a fantastic party!
I know she and Paul are celebrating together.
Sending prayers of comfort and peace.

Just ran across Betty's obituary and thought I'd remind you of how sweet this lady was to me.

She always was so positive and friendly. She was always smiling. She always had a kind thought to give to all of us around her.

I can only imagine the loss your entire family has experienced.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this holiday season.
