I was so sorry to hear of Ellen’s death. My sympathy to Jim, Chuck, Margie and PJ. Ellen was a force to be reckoned with. We had many good times together when our children were in school together. Ellen made countless contributions to the community, and Brenham is better because of her.
Love to her family,

Though we know heaven has welcomed a very special person, our hearts still feel the sorrow.

Ellen was very kind and welcoming when I moved to Brenham and became acquainted with her through the Methodist Church beginning in 2001.

My sincere sympathies to the family.

Mr. Ellison and family,

I was so saddened to learn about the passing of Mrs. Ellison. She was quite a special lady!
I had the wonderful opportunity to be a team member at Ellison's Greenhouses from June 1996 through August 2004. When I first started working I worked in the office beside Mrs. E running reports and learning accounting. She was a stickler for detail so if something wasn't quite right, or it wasn't the way she wanted it, she would not hesitate to let you know. There were many days we would argue about something or just be in a general bad mood because things weren't going right but she would never let you leave at the end of the day without that huge infectious smile and a warm hug. She taught me so much!
It's a blessing to know she's not in any pain and that she's off flying with the Angels. I will miss her dearly but she will always live on in my heart! Gone but never forgotten!

My sincere Condolences,

Barbara

Dear Margie,
What a wonderful legacy your mom has left. I see her in you Margie and how you serve others. She absolutely is dancing in heaven with our Lord. She was precious that night we stayed at their home after the football game when the boys were freshmen. Kirstie has great memories of that evening and the next morning. Christopher loved being Nathan’s guest to Disneyland. Of course, he has fond memories of the lake house with all of you too. Your family is so dear to us and we will continue to lift your family in prayer during this time of mourning.
Love,
The Rollins

Dear Ellison family:
I would like to express my sympathy let you know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I am fortunate enough to have worked at Ellisons Greenhouses for Mrs. Ellison, Mr. Ellison, and PJ at different times. “Mrs. E” gave me my first job as a teenager helping teach me good work ethic and responsibility. This also allowed me the opportunity to get to know and learn from so many quality people during my time at the greenhouses. She did the same for countless others in this community and, therefore, had a hand in the success of each of us. I was always treated with kindness, fairness, and respect. My family and I owe a great deal of gratitude to Mrs. E and her family.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Mrs. Ellison’s family.

I worked for Mrs. Ellison at Ellison’s florist in the 70s. This was my very first job and I greatly appreciate everything she taught me. She inspired me to always do my very best in every task. Mrs. Ellison taught me proper work ethics which helped me to be successful. Thank you, Mrs. Ellison.

Ellison family: It’s so hard to see so many of our “Greenhouse family” pass away. Ellen was ALWAYS the cheerleader for the group, encouraging everyone to be the BEST! She was so loved and respected and will be greatly missed. Her smile brought sunshine wherever she was. May God grant you the beautiful memories that she left on earth!
