Cass, it sounds like your dad was a pretty amazing man - making a huge difference in education and in the lives of young children for many years. My condolences on your loss, and I have you, Donna, and your whole family in my prayers.

Dear Faykus family,
I have many memories of my early childhood, with your family. Mr Faykus was a family friend, and my principal at the elementary school. I think I had to visit him once :) he was always kind and firm. Sweet man!
Crispin... my thoughts are with you and your family. Your dad was a good man. Praying for much comfort and all the good memories to flood you all with peace. Love to you all!

Mr. Faykus was the heart of Sacred Heart School in La Grange for so many years. I had the privilege of seeing the Lord work through him to build up Catholic Education. I was very blessed to call him my principal for 8 years. My deepest sympathies to you all. He touched many lives both big and small and will forever be a model of true leadership, profound kindness, and inspirational faith.
