This picture of "Deedle" is exactly how I will always remember her. She has left so many beautiful memories with her brilliant mind and wonderful personality. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of her family.

I am saddened to learn of Deedle's passing. She was one of a kind and such a special person in our community. Where else but Brenham would you have community leaders like Deedle, Onion, Buster, Boy, and Bo-Peep? She's the end of an era and will be missed but never forgotten. May you be comforted to know that Deedle made a difference...she touched so many lives. Cherish your memories and find comfort in knowing others care and share your sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss but so happy that a woman like Deedle lived. And boy, did she ever live! She always had a smile upon her face and never hesitated to volunteer where there was a need! She had a heart to match that huge smile! Just think how wonderful the world could be if we had more Deedles! Remember all of those wonderful times and share them with those who loved her most. Honor her memory by carrying on her tradition of that beautiful smile because I know she'll be smiling down upon you !

Sending my love to you all! Your mom was a part of all of our childhood, and I have some wonderful memories of her! My mother LOVED her and I was always touched by how they got along and had fun together on the tennis court! I know she's going to be missed and I understand how these last few years must've been tough for all of you! Praying y'all are comforted by knowing she's at peace. Heaven is for real and she's there!
