Eric "Boog" Baranowski

Eric “Boog” Baranowski, 43 of Brenham, was reunited with his family in God’s heavenly home on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 6th from 5 p.m. until rosary is recited at 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 7th at 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Msgr. Benedict Zientek as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Eric Christian Baranowski was born February 20, 1976 in Brenham to Raymond Chris and Shirley Jean (Phillips) Baranowski. He attended First Baptist School and was a 1994 graduate of Brenham High School. At Brenham High, he played golf and never missed a Cub football game. Eric then attended Blinn College and later Sam Houston State University. He was an avid Bearkat sports fan. He also enjoyed Notre Dame football. Since 1996, he was involved in slow pitch softball.

Eric worked at Domino’s Pizza. In more recent years, he was a care giver at Brenham State Supported Living Center.

In recent years, Eric was hindered by health issues, and was supported by many friends. He was known as a peacemaker and much loved person. His gentle spirit will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bartholomew “Bart” Baranowski.

Survivors include: Uncle Jimmy Phillips, numerous cousins, good friend and care giver Marcus Nowicki and numerous other friends.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Nowicki, Heath Byrd, Doug Brown, Christopher Kenjura, Derrick Kenjura, Sam Gregory, Zach Albers, Daniel Nottebart, James Habermann and Sean Church.

Donations are requested to defray funeral expenses.
