I am sorry to read of your loss. Many have lost loved ones and want to see them again. The Bible actually says what will be death's unavoidable eventuality at Revelation 21:4, which says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Death will be gone forever. May this be of encouragement to the family of Erich Malinak.

I am saddened to read of the loss of such a good man. I remember Alan at St. Cecelia and St. Thomas to be both excellent and gregarious. I shall offer my prayers for Alan and his family. I regret that I will be out of town during his memorial services.

Dr. Malinak, Mike, Jeff and Travis,
The news of Alan's passing brought back so many distant memories of the years we spent next door to your family. I have wonderful memories of summer teenagers laughing, playing board games, and doing dare-devil stunts into the pool. I remember hours of Monopoly and Acey-Ducey in the dark after a hurricane. When I wiped out on the mini-bike Alan stayed calm and kept me calm while he bandaged the wounds. Alan had a great heart and was always kind, caring, funny and compassionate. I remember Alan being happy-go-lucky and laid back about life.
I pray that God will bring peace and comfort to the family and I look forward to the day I see Alan again in God's Kingdom.

It was with a very heavy heart that I heard the news about Alan. I have very fond memories of our time together in high school. Although we did not keep in touch, I will always think of him and remember him as a true friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Malinak family during this difficult time.

Dear Malinak Family,
I regret that I have not stayed in contact with you through the years, but know that my heart is with you as you journey through the valley of the shadow of death. Know that Jesus is walking alongside you in your time of grief and He will make ALL things new, as he has made Alan a new creation in Christ Jesus! We have the assurance we will certainly reunite with him again in heaven if only we believe in our savior, Jesus Christ.
Alan was an intelligent, wonderful person with so much "spunk" and a love for life. I recall so many special memories of times with both Alan, our St. Thomas and St. Agnes friends, and with your precious family who became my "Second family" next door!
Alan was loved and will be missed by so many, as he continually poured himself out to others through his generous, compassionate and heartfelt spirit.
Please accept my most sincere condolences in the loss of your son, brother, husband, father, and our friend, Alan.
Sincerely,
Allison (Jones) Cobb
