Ervin Lee Schulz, 83, of Brenham, passed away on September 29, 2021. Ervin was born on September 26, 1938 in Burton, Texas to Otto and Esther (Braun) Schulz.
Ervin was a kind, hard working man and worked for Old Brazos Forge for 29 years. He also worked for Steadley and Texas Fibers for 15 years. When you work hard you also play hard and Ervin enjoyed hunting and fishing and always made sure that he had time off the first weekend of hunting season so that he could enjoy it. Ervin married Emma (Frank) Schulz on December 11, 1965 and they shared 55 beautiful years together. Another love of Ervin’s life was his cat Itza who loved spending time in his lap watching tv with him.
Ervin is preceded in death by his parents and his sister; Joyce Branton. He is survived by his loving wife; Emma, special niece; Rocksann Marburger and her husband Gary and their son; Clinton Marburger, nephews; David Rosenbaum and his wife Peggy, Sherwood “Junior” Rosenbaum and his wife Robin, niece; JoAnn Schulz, numerous great nephews, great nieces and cousins, along with special family friends; James Herzog and Judy Freeman, Don and Ann Koester, Tony and Cathy Wright and Ricky Newsome.
Visitation for Ervin will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 from 8am to 7pm with the family present from 5pm to 7pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel located at 2300 Stringer St. Brenham, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
