Erwin Jerry Ganske

Jerry Ganske, 72, of Brenham, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016.

Visitation will be Friday, September 2nd from 5-7 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Private graveside services will be held at Prairie Lea Cemetery with Pastor Rich Nelson officiating.

Erwin Jerry Ganske was born November 27, 1943 in Houston to Erwin Emil and Aline (Dallmeyer) Ganske. He was a graduate of Burton High School. On March 7, 1975, Jerry married Peggy Wilke. He served in the Air National Guard. For many years, Jerry was employed by Blue Bell Creameries. He enjoyed cruising, farming, and his four-legged friend Kobe.

Surviving loving family includes: wife, Peggy Ganske; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kelly Ganske; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Larry Grebe, Tresa Knight, Gina and Jerry Cross, Kim and Sam Rooker; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and sister, Geraldine Buck.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
