Dear Kruse family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Evelyn. Growing up around your family and spending many special occasions with you all provides me with many great memories which are each influenced by Evelyn. She was a class act in every possible way. Her cooking and friendliness and first class way of doing everything will never be forgotten. I am honored to have known her and appreciate what a tremendous friend she and Ed each were at all times to my parents and family. I will miss her and I pray that the memories of her tremendous positive influence on each of us will sustain you during your time of sorrow. My deepest sympathy.

During that time, Evelyn bravely faced the challenges before her and always remained upbeat and encouraging. We enjoyed sharing stories about Brenham and College Station.
