Evelyn (Hodde) Schilling Menn - Guestbook

Your loving Mother was such a beautiful, sweet, kind blessing on this earth from our Father in Heaven.
I am so sorry for your loss, but we know that where your Mother is, is all of our ultimate desire to be with our Father in Heaven. She was the true meaning of a life lived for serving our God through her service to others. She loved her girls so much. I am so thankful for having known your Mom and called her my friend.

Mr Menn, Sharon and Gloria: I was greatly saddened to hear of Evelyn’s passing. Her life was one well lived ! She knew her Savior and “walked the talk” each and every day of her life. She donated so many hours to helping the youth of the church. I’m sure they’re all fondly remembering her at this time.

Though it’s difficult to lose a loved one, I hope you can rest assured that she is now in the arms of God. May He provide you with peace and understanding.

As soon as I heard the news this morning, I grabbed the card she sent us a year ago. The small but precise handwriting held so much meaning just days before Kris deployed. Aunt Evelyn was a talker. She loved fiercely and kept everyone updated/connected. I know Grandma and Grandpa are being filled in as she enters heavens gates. May you hold the great memories close as I know we all well. The world lost a sweet, caring soul, but heaven gained an angel.

All our love,
Bridget, Kris, Sophia and Hayden
