Obituary

Evelyn Marie Woltmann, 82 of Brenham, passed away Monday, January 15, 2007 in Trinity Medical Center.

She was born March 23, 1924 in the Rock House Community of Fayette County to Louis J. and Annie Marie (Untermeyer) Wilde. Mrs. Woltmann was a graduate of Fayetteville High School. On August 27, 1946, she married Wilbert H. Woltmann in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Frelsburg. Mrs. Woltmann was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Mrs. Woltmann is survived by twin sons and their wives, Ron and Debbie Woltmann and Don and Kerri Woltmann all of Brenham; grandchildren, Holli DeLane Reeves and husband Nick of College Station, Sarah Elizabeth Frazier and husband Kevin of Houston, Richard Benjamin Woltmann of Brenham; great-grandchildren, Ethan Joseph and Addison Elise Reeves of College Station; brother, Sewall Wilde and wife Pat of New Ulm; sister, Aurelia Janish of Houston; sister-in-law, Isabelle Wilde of Lyford, Texas; and best pal, Dorrace Schramm of New Ulm.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband Wilbert H. Woltmann on December 17, 1999, brother James Wilde, and brother-in-law Daniel Janish.

Rosary will be recited Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 7 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Deacon Dan Nowak.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father David Ivey celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Richard Woltmann, Nick Reeves, Kevin Frazier, Tim Janish, Larry Janish and Joe Janish. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.

Evelyn’s family wishes to express gratefulness for her life of friendship, love and contentment. She will be greatly missed, yet joyfully sent ahead to her Maker…
