Obituary

Felix Shaw Mangham, 79 of Brenham, passed away Monday, May 16, 2005 at his residence.

Felix was born December 19, 1925 in San Antonio, Texas to Clarence Edward and Hazel Isabel (Shaw) Mangham. He is a retired major, USAF, where he was a command pilot and an evacuation pilot. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theatre and Korean Conflict, USAF. He also retired from Texas Instruments.

On May 21, 1949 he was united in marriage to Eileen Marie Hubbell by Rev. Harvard Anderson in San Antonio, Texas. He was a member of Brenham Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Graham Lodge #20 A.F. & A.M. .

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one brother-in-law.

His family includes: wife Eileen Marie Mangham of Brenham; sons Frank Shaw Mangham of Denver, Colorado; Brian Mangham and wife Brenda of Houston; daughter Virginia Manzi of Brenham; grandchildren Delaney and Malia Mangham of Denver, Colorado, Austin, Tara and Ashley Mangham of Houston, Jade Jackson and husband Eddie of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister Hazel Meyers of Brenham and nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the Mangham family will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Graveside service, with full military honors, will be held at 2:15 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2005 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas by Air Force Chaplain Donald Ofsdahl.

The family requests in lieu of floral tributes, memorials be given to Brenham Presbyterian Church, 900 South Jackson St., Brenham, Texas 77833.
