Florence Miller

Florence Miller, 88, of Brenham, passed away on September 11, 2020.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 14, from 3:00 pm until rosary is recited at 6:30 pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 15, at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family appreciates your observance of current public health precautions. Please wear a mask and social distance during these events.

Florence was born on December 27, 1931, to parents Wallace and Mary (Jozwiak) Miller of Washington County, Texas. Florence grew up in the area with her siblings and attended local schools. Florence was employed as a nurse’s aide at Brenham Rest Home for 46 years. Florence was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Surviving loving family includes: special niece Diane McAlpine and family, special friend Vicky Kenjura, and numerous other loving nieces, nephews, and family members. Florence is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Dorothy Miller, Angela Perkins and Louise Miller; brothers Charles, Billy, and Albin Miller.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Clifford Miller, James Swick, Ken McAlpine, Michael Swick, Nicholas Derrick and Joseph Noska. Honorary pallbearer will be Matthew Swick.
