Frances Evelyn Hardy Forsythe

Frances Evelyn Hardy Forsythe, 86, of Brenham, Texas, formerly of Marshall, passed away quietly in her sleep on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Care Center of Brenham. Frances was born to James Franklin Hardy and Mary Frances Mullikin Hardy on January 11, 1925 in Overton, Texas. She was married to K. H. Forsythe, Jr. on February 22, 1946. She was employed by Joe Weisman & Co. for 38 years.

Frances is survived by her son, Jon M. Forsythe, Sr. and wife, Gail; grandchildren Mike Forsythe and wife Karry and Kim Forsythe; one great-grandchild, Mya Pendergraff. She is also survived by her sister, Bobbie Hardy Jones and husband, Jimmy and a number of very special nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, Frank Hardy, Jr. and Lee Heartsill Hardy.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Algoma Cemetery in Marshall, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
