Frances Finke

Frances Finke, 83 of Brenham, passed away at home Sunday, November 13, 2011 surrounded by her family.

On July 30, 1928, she was born in Stoneham, Texas to Tony and Agnes Sechelski. Frances was married to Eugene Finke January 26, 1952. Frances was a loving wife, mother, as well as loving role model and caregiver to her three granddaughters.

Frances was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and the alter society.

She was preceded in death by: parents, sisters Rosie Hoffart and Mary Sechelski, brother David Sechelski.

Her surviving loving family includes: husband of 60 years, Eugene Finke; son, Alan Eugene Finke and wife Debbie; granddaughters, Amanda Scott and husband Travis, Rachel Finke, Katy Finke and special friend Jason Foley; great granddaughter, Harper Scott; sister, Margaret Peters.

Visitation will be Monday, November 14th at Brenham Memorial Chapel from 6-8 p.m. with rosary recited at 7 p.m. with Deacon Bill Januszewski.

Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 15th at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. David Ivey as celebrant. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Navasota. Pallbearers will be: Danny Finke, Devin Finke, Coy Poret, Jason Foley, Travis Scott and Morris Peters.
