Frances Lanelle Farquhar

Frances Lanelle Parks Farquhar, 74, of Brenham, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at her residence.

Frances was born December 15, 1935 in Houston to parents Oliver and Jennie (McDougal) Parks. On November 1955, she was married to Lloyd Douglas “Jack” Farquhar in Bellaire, TX by Pastor Holems. Before retirement, Frances was a bridal consultant at Foleys for eighteen years. She loved being with family and friends and surfing the internet.

Her parents and brother W. O. “Sonny” Parks preceded Frances in death.

Survivors include husband Lloyd Douglas “Jack” Farquhar, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law Douglas, Jr. and Pam Farquhar, Lansing and Jennifer Farquhar; daughters and sons-in-law Kay and Bob Boling, Traci and Tim Witt; grandchildren Clinton Oliver Ward, Cody Dale Witt, Amber Lynn Witt, John Douglas “J.D.” Farquhar, Kendra Leigh Witt, Randi Blanch Farquhar, Chelsea Lanell Farquhar, Ethan Lloyd Farquhar; and great-grandchildren Avery Layne Ward, Sterling Rose Ward; brother and sister-in-law Lynn and Martha Parks; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Bob Barnett; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services are 10 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2010 in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Plantersville Cemetery, Plantersville, TX.

Pallbearers are Lynn Parks, Clint Ward, Cody Witt, J. D. Farquhar, Rob Barnett and Bump Harrison, Ethan Farquhar and Rich Haeckner.
