Gary L. Keeton - Guestbook

I always liked Gary. We spent a lot of hours together at Brenham Power and Equipment. I was unfamiliar with Kohler motors and Gary taught me well. I found myself thinking about him as I was teaching my son to repair a 1977 Kohler motor. I think Gary would like that I passed on his knowledge to another generation.

Gary was a wonderful friend to Sarah and I. I will always remember and treasure our breakfasts together at Smitty’s. When Sarah and I moved to Brenham in 2017, Gary greeted us with open arms and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. He will be greatly missed. Jim

Our deepest condolences to Gary's family. Gary was a classmate and a good friend to me and my family. He was always ready to help in any way he could. He'd drop off doughnuts for my dad and even Blue Bell ice cream - which Gary loved! He talked about and adored his family. Lots of photos of his son and grandsons. He was so proud of them!
He fought a long, tough battle. He will be missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Gary’s passing. In the short time I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Gary as his nurse at MDA, I could tell he was a wonderful person, and the love between him and Sherry was beautiful and strong. I send my sincerest condolences to Sherry and his family during this difficult time.

I was very saddened to learn about Gary's passing. He was the rhythm guitar player in our rock band "The Marmalade Mirage" in 1971. He was a talented and melodic guitar player and a kind and gentle soul. Although our life paths separated after we graduated from Brenham High School, it was no surprise to me to read in his obituary that he was a loving husband, father and friend. Peace Gary.

The entire Keeton family is heartbroken as we deal with the loss of our father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and so much more. Uncle Gary’s talents were many. His greatest asset was his love for all of us. He is reunited with his parents and brother, and singing with our Lord and Saviour!!
