Dear Adamson family, Mike and I met your wonderful mother when we joined St Peters in 1978. Your mom and Delores Howell were present in College Station when Mike and I got confirmed in the Episcopal Church....something we will always remember. We will always remember her wonderful smile and personality. It was a beautiful service for a beautiful and talented person. We are grateful for the opportunity to know her.

Dear Adamson family,
Your mother was such a jewel and was so loved in our church. What a devoted and talented Christian woman. We have missed her being at church the last few years and were so sorry to hear of her passing. Unfortunately neither Tom or I were able to attend the funeral but our hearts were with you.

Dear Kathy, Jan, Terrie, and Lisa and families,
Today's service to honor your mother's life was very meaningful and so beautiful. I have such wonderful memories of you all during our growing-up years up to the present. Your mother's warm hospitality and sincere guidance was always welcome in my life. A few memories stand out today. When our dad died the first day Kathy and I were supposed to start high school, she kept all of you home from school so that we four could have someone to be with that day. That to me was thoughtfulness I can't forget. She loved reading the books I'd loan her and would lovingly comment on the lessons she would learn from them. Really? And, who could ever forget the chuckwagon party? Mercy! Fond memories linger a long time in this grateful heart! She will be missed, but we know we will see her again. What joy she has now, face to face with Jesus, crowned with His blesings, and forever enjoying His marvelous Peace and Love. Maybe she has found my Mom by now and they are having one of their heart-to heart chats. Much Love to you all...XOXOXOXO. Lydia

We are so sorry to learn of Gerry's passing, but can just picture her with her beloved husband rejoicing in heaven. Know you will all miss her, but what a blessing to have had a mother like her. She was a joy to all. Every time I leave my kitchen, I am reminded of her as I was fortunate enough that she sent us a framed beautifully painted Bible verse. What a treasure! We feel very blessed to have known her. even if it were for such a shor time.
You girls are all in our prayers.

Terry and Family,
So very sorry to hear of your mother's passing away. We are dealing with mom and Alzheimer's right now, so I know clearly what your mom has been up against. We are blessed, however, we have the memories. I will always remember our times at church when Brenham was still a small town. I find peace in those memories.
God bless your mom and family. It was truly my honor and privilege to have known her !!

We would like to express our feelings for all of you. Gerry had to be one of the finest people I've ever met. She welcomed me(Mary) to the family and made me really feel welcome.
I'm sure we all know where she's at now. There is no doubt in our minds. I sure she and Evelyn will meet up again as will as your dad.
Our feelings and prayers are with you all.

Dear Adamson Family, your mothers drawings of the streets of Chappell Hill hang at Dee's & my front door entrance. Everyday I admire them. What Gerrie did for me one year for Dees Fathers Day is one of our most cherished pieces in our home. I took Dees wooden jewelry box FULL of earned Scout Badges to her & said "Gerrie these need to be framed & admired." Handed her the wooden box & she did a work of art! The way she laid them out & the sash w/the Order of The Arrow just makes it perfect. When she finished she told me how proud she was of the work & how accomplished Dee was as a scout. When Dee died our sons took the picture of the badges to the chapel & I can tell you everyone knew that was "Gerries talent" in that piece.
My only regret is I wish many times over that I owned a watercolor of her BlueBells. Always a favorite to admire hanging in the frame shop.
Wonderful memories.

Kathy,
I was so sorry to hear of your mother passing. I pray that God will comfort you and your family and remind you of all of the precious moment you shared with your mother.
Let the words of God be a comfort to your heart and remember that you will meet up again with you mother as promised in John 14: 1-4…
John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful person with the brightest smile! We had a lot of fun in the choir & Sunday School at St Peter's Church in Brenham. Such good memories. St Peter's is missing a lot of sweet angles. Please know that the Geick family is thinking of you and supporting you in your sorrow. This is going to be a tough Christmas. But, our mom's would want us to continue on and celebrate the season. They are in the arms of God and have no more pain.
Love to all of you.

Terrie and Family,
So many great memories of your wonderful mom keep popping into my head. I could spend hours with her talking about art and trying to figure out how she did those incredible trees in her pencil drawings. I am so glad my boys got to know her and some of her stories. We will keep her alive in our hearts forever.

My sincerest condolences, Kathy, on the death of your mother. Gerry was a remarkable woman, and I have many fond memories of her from all our years in school and Girl Scouts together, and then from the years she lived just a few houses down from my mother. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Marion

Still fondly remember when I would visit Brenham with TA the many early morning talks we had over that first pot of coffee....just waiting for TA to get out of bed.
To Kathy, Jan, TA and Lisa (and the many extended family members) your deep love for your mother shines in the special care you all provided over the past three years. God bless you all!
