Obituary

Germania Janie Krolczyk, 81 of Chappell Hill, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 in the hospital surrounded by family.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. with rosary recited at 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 10th in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 11th in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Jozef Musiol, SDS, JCD, as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Janie was born December 24, 1936 in Chappell Hill to Tony Lee Flisowski, Sr. and Albina (Mazyn) Flisowski. She was baptized and confirmed in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where she remained a lifelong member. She attended Chappell Hill schools. On November 26, 1955, she was married to Clement “Clem” Krolczyk in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church by Rev. John Wesolek. Janie worked at Chappell Hill Sausage Company. In 1993 she began working for Germania Insurance Company and from there she retired in 2010. She enjoyed playing pitch, going to the casinos and being with her children, grandkids and great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by: parents, husband, and three brothers.

Surviving loving family includes: children and their spouses, Ernie Krolczyk of Chappell Hill, Betty Krolczyk and Ronnie Lewandowski of Chappell Hill, Johnnie Ray, Sr. and wife Linda Krolczyk, of Brenham, Lillian Krolczyk Jankowiak and husband Ronnie of Chappell Hill, Sally Grohmann and husband Kenneth of Cypress, and Lucy Lorenz and husband Billy of Washington; grandchildren, Crystal (Luis) Duran, Christopher Faterkowski, Johnnie Ray “Bubba” (Ashley) Krolczyk, Jr., Bridgette (Kevin) Schulze, Ronald Paul Jankowiak, Amber Jankowiak, Hunter Krolczyk, Madalyn Krueger, Kayla (Greg) Trucker, Rena Frank and Corey Lorenz; five special great-grandchildren Levi and Emma Duran, Quinn, Rylie and Ryder Schulze; six step-great grandchildren; sisters Florence Flisowski of Houston, Dorothy Stegmann of Chappell Hill, Cecilia Schroeder of Shelby, JoAnn Killian of Hempstead and Pauline Killian of Hempstead; brothers Johnny Flisowski, Sr. of Texas City and Vincent Flisowski of Santa Fe, Texas along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Faterkowski, Bubba Krolczyk, Hunter Krolczyk, Levi Duran, Ronald Paul Jankowiak, Kenneth Grohmann, Ronnie Lewandowski and Luis Duran. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Cegielski, Vincent Krolczyk, Sr., Billy Lorenz and Kevin Schulze.

Memorials are requested to The American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
