Janner Family: Gilbert's death is a loss to each and every child who was ever a Washington County Fair participant. Mr Janner was the glue who held the fair together for many years, giving kids a chance to learn his ethics of hard work. May he now treasure his well deserved rest in heaven as you treasure the wonderful memories he's left behind!

Dear Kathryn, Carol and Kathy,

Just want you to know that we are thinking of you and praying for your peace at this time of loss. I have always thought of Gilbert as a father figure and have thought recently about how he put me on the bailer and corn picker when I was 17 and 18 years old even though he had a lot of older employees. He showed a lot of confidence in me and I have considered it to be an honor to have worked for you and known the family. We wish you well and you will continue to be in our prayers.
