I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Buerger's death. I got to know him well when he worked for the school district. He had a way of cheering up anyone he came in contact with. His constant jokes and that huge smile on his face was contagious. It made us forget our troubles. May the many fond memories you hold in your heart today help comfort you in some way. He will be missed. Thinking of you today~~ Debra, Rick, Lacy and Luke Eckert

Annie Mae, Matt & Janie--
It "really hit home" when Butch told me of Glenwood's passing. I had just run into him and Annie Mae at HEB the week before Christmas....just goes to show you how unpredictable life really is. We don't have a lot of control over what happens....only God does. Glenwood was such a good person with SUCH a good personality!! You should all have a lot of good memories of him; he was such an important part of your lives. As they say, when God made Glenwood, he broke the mold!!
Our prayers are with you. And, after reading this guestbook with all of the entries, it looks like you have a LOT of people doing the same. We're all here to help...all you have to do is ask!!

Dear Buerger Family,
We were saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Mr. Buerger. We will truly miss him in the neighborhood - he would always stop to talk with us if we were outside when he was walking. He & Kent usually had some comment about me and my "work" in the yard! And, I also enjoyed seeing him when he came in the bank. He never met a stranger, and always had a friendly wave or "hello" to shout out to me! What a great guy - you should be so proud!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all,
Kent & Lynn Van Eman

Dear Annie, Matt, Janie & families:
This was such a shock!
My deepest sympathy to all of you. I will keep you all in my prayers today and in the days ahead.
Annie, it was always a pleasure to watch you and
Glenwood dance at the celebrations in Washington county. You two always looked like Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers on the dance floor. I know you will miss him.
May God be with all of you.

Annie Mae, Janie, Matt & entire family - I was so surprised to open up the paper last night to see that Glenwood passed away. My fondest memories go way back with Daphne and I hanging out as the Buergers live next door to the Walkers. He always gave us a smile and shook his head as we were always so silly. Glenwood had such a big heart for everyone with a genuine interest for all. He will sure be missed. God be with you at this time of sorrow.

It is so sad to hear of Glenwood's passing. I just saw him not to long ago where he gave me a hug and asked if I had been behaving. This is a fond memory of him from my childhood when I used to play with Crystal, Amber and Amy in his back yard. He used to watch us as we played red light-green light. He was a great person and always friendly. I know that he will truly be missed. He leaves with me an impression that will last my lifetime, for there was no nicer person than Glenwood. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. May God bless each of you.
