I grew up in the same church in Houston with his parents, who were our Youth Sponsors. As life would have it, I rented out my small home after my divorce as I moved in to my grandpa's home in Brenham. Funny how our paths have crossed as Guy rented the house for a short period of time. My prayers for the family as they process the grief of losing a loved one. It is never easy.

We will forever cherish the great friendship we shared with Guy! We have so many great memories to hold on to Many, many years bringing in the New Year together and the annual Super Bowl parties, and so many other fun adventures you took us Guy! You really would keep us laughing, and the life of so many times and parties! We will miss you at the Kenney 4th of July BBQ coming up, too, won’t be the same! Gonna miss all your phone calls! Dear Garner Family,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Guy's passing. We knew him many years ago. In the last couple of years we would run into he and his family at Marachi's. It was great seeing him.
Please know we lift you all up in prayer now and the days ahead.
