I was shocked to read in today's paper about Gwen's passing. My condolences to all families. Mike, you and Gwen were such good neighbors for so many years. It's hard to believe. It seems like it was just yesterday that you-all were across the street from me. God bless.

TO MIKE AND GWEN'S FAMILY: MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOSS. I HAVE ONLY KNOWN GWEN FOR THE PAST FIVE MONTHS WHEN SHE BECAME MY ATTORNEY TO PROBATE MY HUSBAND'S WILL. SHE LEFT A LASTING IMPRESSION, ALWAYS SMILING AND READY TO LISTEN AND I FEEL LIKE I GOT TO KNOW HER FAMILY AS SHE SPOKE OF YOU OFTEN. Ms. Gwen...I will always remember you as the person who gave me an opportunity at my dream of being a legal assistant. You were a very patient and full of zeal for the law. I believe God had our paths to cross so that I may experience someone as driven as you are regarding life and law. Ms Gwen you will surely be missed. God needed a beautiful flower to put in his garden and reach down and picked you for his garden. Rest in heaven beautiful flower. May God continue to bless the family in their loss.

John and I are so very sorry for your loss of Gwen! She was a wonderful, hard-working lady, and a friend to everyone she met! We are deeply saddened by the loss and our prayers go out to Mike and her mother,Shirley, and her entire family. RIP Gwen!!

I have been so surprised and sorry to hear the news of Gwen's passing. It's been a few years, but once upon a time we were good friends. My love to the family, and prayers for God's perfect peace to comfort you during this time.

Gwen has always been So Special to us. We loved her caring ways and her quick Smile. Will always remember the fun we've had as Reunions.

Gwen was my best friend in first grade. I will never forget her coming up to me and inviting me to sit with her. It definitely made me feel I belonged! I have so many great women in my life to look up to, that have shaped me and helped to make me the woman I am today. My aunt Gwen ignited my love of animals as a young girl and she delighted with me and my big imagination. She enjoyed playing with barbies by my side as much as I did. So many great memories I will cherish forever. We love you Gwen and miss you deeply.

GWEN, our warrior of TRUTH, always DILIGENT and TENACIOUS, a lover of justice, and we will forever be out of balance without you.

Such a special person Gwen was. I loved her very much. Always looked forward to seeing her which was not very often. We were so sorry Gwen was not able to attend our reunion in July. I know she would have loved to have been there. If she knew there was going to be a reunion, you could count on Gwen attending. I know Gwen will be missed by so many.
There is no more sickness, no more pain. Think of the graduation for Gwen. Standing in the presence of the King of Kings. Seeing Loyd, her Daddy once again and other loved ones.

Oh our precious Gwen, we will always remember you as the little one who sat on our lap and gave us such great love & hugs. We were not privileged to live close to you but it was always with great joy when we were able to visit with you. Your love & kindness for all will be missed!

Gwennie was an amazing person. She became part of my family when I began working for her as her assistant at the DA's office. She and I were two peas in a pod among a crazy environment. We just understood one another. My life, and my family's life has and will always be blessed to have known her. I always called her Gwennie. She and shared our love for the color purple, but only she had the flair for tie dye! Kerrie, I heard so much about you from your mom. She loved you so very much. When I became pregnant with my daughter Madison Grace, she would give me all kinds of great advice that she learned raising you. Mike you truly were her strong tower. She loved you dearly. I will miss her so much. She was a great friend to me.
