I am so very sorry for the loss of this GREAT man. I met him in the late 1990s when he transformed his yard and home into a train wonderland. My son was a train fanatic and we would go by their house EVERY night. One night when he was outside he came and invited us inside. That night changed my son's life. From then on he was known as the "train man." For years this was our Christmas tradition and enjoyed every moment. My son would lay in his yard and on his floor inside just studying each and every train. God has gained a WOMDERFUL man in Mr. Goessler.

Goessler family,
Mr. Herbert took many people in his life under his wing and shared his wisdom with many. In my early years with Blue Bell and many years afterward, I had the privilege of being one of them. He guided me with great wisdom. Condolences to all of you.

I met Herbert several years ago at Tommy Jacomini’s farm. You could tell Herbert was a pretty enthusiastic guy about his hobby. When I told him I was working at a hobby shop, he started coming in regularly. He always had some sort of project he was working on. I really enjoyed talking with him and helping him out. Sorry to see him pass…. Clear sky and fair wind my friend! You’ll be missed!
