Howard Fischer - Guestbook

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Fischer but I have had the pleasure of working with his son David for almost five years now. If David is nothing more than a shade of who his father once was than I have zero doubt that Mr. Fischer was a great man. I would like to send my deepest condolences to David and his family during this very tough time and let them know that they are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family of Howard Fischer~~We were saddened to hear of Howard's passing. He was a good man and will be missed by many. Howard & Mary were wonderful neighbors to the Goldbergs for many years. May God grant you all peace throughout the next days, weeks and months to come.

I knew Howard for as long as I can remember. He and his wife Mary sang in the choir at Rehburg church with my parents and I. I remember Howard having a great sense of humor, always pleasant, easy to talk to, patient, and very kind. In my mind I can still hear him singing "Mercy of Your Grace" (at Pastor Heinrich's ordination anniversary celebration, I think?).
We will miss him a lot, but I know he is happier where he belongs: in the presence of the Lord he loved so much and exemplified so well, and with Mary once again. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends he left behind.
