BLAZEK
Hugh E. Blazek, Jr., age 60 of Somerville passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at his son’s home in Burton.
Hugh was born April 17, 1950 in Houston to Hugh Edward, Sr. and Mary Sue (Giesberg) Blazek. He worked for the City of Houston in public works. He married Viola Mae Gunn on November 11, 2000. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Houston, Texas Musician’s Association and was a lifetime Boy Scout, as an Eagle Scout.
His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
Survivors include wife Viola M. Gunn Blazek; sons Joe A. Tarver (Miriam J.), Charles P. Morgan II (Danielle M.); grandchildren Keaten N., Kirsten A., Sadi M., Skyler E., Seth T. (Tarver), Charles P. Morgan III, Michelle M. Morgan; sisters Kathleen Lederer, Stephanie Munday, Susan Flores, Claudie Toomey, Ellen Kathcart, Alison Spiller; goddaughter Shay Casey Hansen; sister-in-law Cynthia F. Gunn; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Services are 1 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2011 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.
