My wife (Elizabeth) and I offer our thoughts and Paryers to the Zorn family. James will surely be missed. I can still remember ditty at Burton Cafe listening to music with the Zorn’s and my parents, like it was yesterday.

God bless the Zorn family. I didn't know James, but I remember Mary as my music teacher in the 4th grade. David Edwards was also a good friend. Prayers for the family.

MaryJane and boys; I’m so saddened at the passing of James. He was always such a sweet and gentle man. I have fond memories of our families in the years we spent attending Greenvine Baptist Church.

In a world where we don't always know what is genuine, James Zorn was about as genuine as they come. I will miss him, but I also take comfort in knowing that he is with his Lord and Savior, and that his boys will be the same kind of daddies that he was for them with their own children.

Love to MJ and the whole family.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” - Revelation 21:4

While I only had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with James this last year (when my daughter married his son), I was immediately impressed with his kind, gentlemanly demeanor. James is what I've always envisioned as a Texas gentleman--down to Earth and kindly. While I will miss getting to know him better here, I will look forward to seeing him in glory, as I know he'll be there waiting for us in Heaven.

Have been missing James at the opry for awhile now. Could always count on seeing him standing quietly in the back, just enjoying the good country tunes he loved. Never knew that he was only 9 days older than me. That's why we clicked from day one! Mary Jane, I know there's many good memories from your years together. Keep them fresh in your mind daily, knowing you will one day be together again. God Bless you and the kids!!!

I am so sorry to hear of James' passing. He was a kind and gentle man. I remember him doing a lot of head-shaking at some of the shenanigans Lesley and I got into as kids. But even 20+ years later he always had a handshake and smile for me whenever I would run into him. He will be missed and my thoughts and condolences are with the whole family.

Mary Jane, Leslie, Arron, Will and families,
Please accept our sincere sympathy and condolences. James will be missed. He was such a good man. I remember our last conversation. He told me a funny story about Luke. I have a feeling that James and Luke had many good laughs at WCT. James was such a good man, funny and kind. His demeanor was so calm. Easy to talk to.
We sure enjoyed listening to him play and sing at events whether it was at The old Burton Cafe or at St. John’s old time sing along sessions, he was always entertaining. . Those were such fun times.
Tuck those precious memories in your heart. No one can take those away from us. May they bring comfort on those dark days.
Rest In Peace, good friend.
Love
