Jane (Krolczyk) Machacek

Jane Machacek, 89 of Chappell Hill, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12th from 5 p.m. until rosary is recited at 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 13th at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Jozef Musiol, SDS, JCD celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Jane was born April 20, 1928 in Chappell Hill to Joseph and Eleonora (Mozdzinski) Krolczyk. On October 21, 1950, she married Anton Machacek at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. They made their home in Houston. Jane was employed over 20 years by Weingarten’s and Safeway in the bakery department.

She was a life-long member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and member of the altar society. Jane enjoyed vegetable gardening, growing plants, cooking and baking pies for her family and caring for their cattle.

Jane was preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter-in-law Shirley Machacek and all of her siblings.

Loving family includes: sons, James Machacek and Anton Machacek, Jr. and wife Janet; daughters, Sharon Tomczak and husband Leonard , Doris Rupertus and husband Frank; grandchildren and spouses, Vicky and Todd Rooney, Jana and Alex Rubio, Vincent and Amanda Sepanio, Ryan Tomczak, Matthew Machacek, Jennifer Frank and Zack Ekblad-Frank; step grandchildren, Nicole Black and Jessica Black; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Allyson, Nathanael, Grace, Hunter, Wyatt and Masynn; step-great-granddaughter Olivia.

Memorials are requested to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
