Jeanette Brending Carlson

Jeanette Carlson, 71 of Brenham passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023.

She was born September 21, 1951 to parents Jim and Dorothy (Skweres) Brending in Brenham. Jeanette retired after 20 years of service to the Brenham State School. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Jeanette enjoyed taking strolls at HEB with her baby Daisy her last child. She loved music especially Polka. She enjoyed looking after her plants and watching soap operas. She would do anything for her grandchildren.

Jeanette joined her parents Jim and Dorothy Brending in Heaven.

She is survived by: her siblings; Beatrice Gaskamp, Judy Savelle, Annie Skweres, Rosely, Claire, James, Glenn, Le Roy, Roger, Herman, Freddy and Gary Brending; children Ricky and (Daughter-in-law) Jesse Brending, Jonathan, Timothy, and Melissa Carlson. The ones that called her Nana J: Victoria, Christian, Cameron Wiesepape, and Jaden, Kolton, Natalie Nickerson.

Visitation with family present will be held Friday, August 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Graveside services will be Saturday, August 5 at 10 a.m. at Prairie Lea Cemetery.
