What a full and eventful life Jerry lived raising a family and a hospital at the same time. I say "raising a hospital" because Jerry did act as a mother to her employees! She knew our strengths and helped us achieve our full potential. For that, I will be eternally grateful as I lift the family up in prayer!

My sympathy to all of Jerry's family and dear friends.

I never met Jerry, but I worked in Franciscan Services Corporation with people who had. I know that she was held in high respect as the CEO of St. Jude Hospital. She knew not only the business end of operations, but kept the mission and spirit in the forefront. The Sisters of St. Francis owe her a debt of gratitude for her leadership. May the Lord bless Jerry for her kind heart and generous spirit.

My deepest sympathy to you and all of the family.
I was saddened to hear of Jerry’s death.
I have many good memories and I will keep all those memories in my heart, for those we love live forever in our heart.
The picture and obituary in the Brenham paper were true to her life. She was and always will be an angel to God, Milton, her children, grandchildren and friends.
Jerry was a very dear friend and I will miss her letters and phone calls.
Peace and al good!

I’ve known Jerry for 45 years and she was so sweet. She offered me a job about 40 years ago and I made a huge mistake and didn’t take it. She was so kind & sweet. I would stop and visit with her when she lived on Chappel Hill St and she was always so gracious.
A lovely lady that will be missed.
