My sweet Aunt Jimmie, to have known you was one of the biggest blessings I’ve experienced in my life. To have been your niece was a true miracle. I will always cherish the love and encouragement you gave to me and wait for the day we will meet again. I love you always and forever.

How do I put in words to describe all of the love and happiness our sweet Aunt Jimmie graced us through the years? My writing will never do her justice, but I must share my adoration for her.

I’ll always cherish her welcoming hugs that enveloped me in the warmth that she radiated. Her laugh was a rare diamond that makes me smile, because I can still hear its’ ring. She would gush about all of her great-nieces’ hair while running her fingers through it (I’m leery of ever cutting mine again). Every year I would look forward to seeing her and Uncle Jeff at their beautiful home that truly felt like nature’s heaven; a place where all my stress and complications refused to enter. Aunt Jimmie was a true light-bearer, because I NEVER felt a breadth of negativity in her presence. Although it’s human nature to be speaking of her in past tense, her spirit lives on through all of us. We’ve all gained her presence through the ether, which means she’ll never leave our side.

Aunt Jimmie, I love you so much that there needs to be another word stronger than meaning of love, which I promise you that I’ll come up with one, and hopefully get to hear your laugh again when I spill it to you in the Seuss-like craziness it may sound like. But then again, you may already know, because the understanding lies in the soul. We miss you madly down here, but we know you’re where you were created to be. <3

Love,
Elizabeth

Jimmie Lynn is quite a lady! Early in my recovery she was quite a support. She helped me to not give up on myself and to be comfortable with a "daily reprieve." Jimmie's genuine love for her fellowman is one of her outstanding qualities. How comforting to know that she is in the memory of Almighty God.(Rom. 14:8) Her date of resurrection is precisely marked on His calendar. How happy Jehovah will be to present her back with no sickness or pain...what a hope!!

Jeff, I know you now how much we loved Jimmie Lynn, and always will. She became a beloved friend when she painted inside our home. I felt we had found a true treasure and enjoyed every minute we spent with her. All our decorating and curtain making are some of my sweetest memories. Please know we are holding you in our hearts and prayers at this time. Jimmie Lynn suffers no more as she rests in the arms of our Dear Lord.

When I heard the word Jimmie had passed, I laughed and thought they don't know!! Her body may have failed but she will never leave this world without love and joy and most of all hope. She shared the love they talk about, unconditional. If you knew her you smile with me. My heart is full of love she showed us it was ok to give. Love for all...
My heart grieves for all that loved her dearly too them. Her family, which is huge! Mrs.McCoy, Esse Lee and Edgar all her sisters and nephews and nieces, and brother and sister in laws. You were her center core and then it wrapped up and included everyone she ment and loved seeing only through Christ eyes.
Jeffery ,you stand solely in the middle. The love of her life .
What a union y'all have. I cannot imagine your grief . But I know you are Smiling in your heart because her love and joy is too big!! There is not enough room for negative .
I am praying for you and the world she loved. She will be the beacon for all. In death her love will still be the light for others. Thank you God for Jimmie Lynn. AMEN

Jimmie Lynn was a beautiful person who I loved and admired. What a great life she lived and a great big love she shared with others in need. We could all learn how to be a better person by following her example.

When my daughter entered in to public school after being in a private school for several years I was concerned. I knew Jimmie worked at the campus my daughter would be attending. I asked her to keep an eye on my kiddo. Jimmie greeted my daughter every single morning with a hug and made her feel special. Jimmie did that with many of us, what a legacy of a life well lived. Her spirit will live on with so many people that she touched.

Jeff my friend, I’m praying for you and all of Jimmies family and friends. We all know how much you two loved each other. Overwhelming sadness and grief is a testament to a great love.

Love & Light

What an amazing lady...she will be greatly missed. Jimmie was one of my son's instructors at Project Search. Coy would come home talking about Jimmie Lynn and what all had happened that day, always with a smile on his face and love in his heart. Jimmie Lynn will always be a special part of Coy's life, she will be his special guardian angel.
My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family.

Jeff: I am lifting you up in prayer as well as thanking God for Jimmie Lynn! She was a rare and colorful person with a heart bigger than Texas! Anyone who has a catch and release protocol for mice is indeed special. Jimmie Lynn's smile outshone the sun on most days - even those days that her beautiful hair was curly, wild and unmanageable. I always laughed at her private war with her hair!
God, in His wisdom, took Jimmie Lynn to live with him and be free of pain and worry. We thank Him and praise His holy name! He will keep her in our hearts forever.
May God grant you love, peace and understanding!

You knew me like no other. You could see right through me during my ups and downs. You gave me strength when I had none. You'd show me the positive when I'd be dwelling on negative. I miss every single thing about you. Your beautiful smile, warm welcoming hugs, your cookies and treats, your organic approach to just about everything in this world. You knew we're all God's creatures and need to be nurtured. He's nurturing you now. You will forever be in my heart and soul. My kids love you so much too and will miss you too. Please have a dewberry pie ready for me when I get to see you someday. Promise I'll eat the whole thing myself. I'll bet dewberries are plentiful where you're going.
And please hug Pawpaw for me and let him know I miss him and love him too. I know he's with you right now. I know he is. I love you so much Aunt Jimmie. We'll take care of Uncle Jeff - Big Jeff. He's got so many people that love him and know he will be taken care of. Please don't worry about us. Your family will always be here. Even those of us that are far away, we'll always be with you. I love you. Emerson and Wesley love you. And thank you for visiting me the other night. I dismissed it as a dream until I found out you were with Pawpaw that morning. Thank you for being my rock and showing me the bright side of life. I love you Aunt Jimmie.
