Joe Wallace Graves

Joe Wallace Graves, 62 of Houston, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2007 in Triumph Hospital of Houston.

He was born December 18, 1944 to Wallace William “Pops” and Betty Jane Warren Graves in Teague, Texas. On January 27, 1966, he married Karla Barry in Houston. Mr. Graves was self-employed. He collected flags, clocks and coins and enjoyed Western movies.

His father, Wallace “Pops” Graves, preceded him in death on April 11, 2000.

Survivors include: mother, Betty Jane Graves of Brenham; sisters and brother-in-laws, Linda and Valgene Horak, Susie and Justin V. Flasowski, Lisa and Matt Moudry all of Brenham; daughters, Christie Michelle of Carrollton, Carrie Ann of Huntington; grandchildren, Levi Dalton and Hunter Ashton of Huntington, Aidan Christopher of Carrollton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20, 2007 from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Mike Button officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Valgene Horak, Justin V. Flasowski, Justin R. Flasowski, Matt Moudry, David Jacobs, Jason Yourgules and Mark Fernandez.

Memorials suggested to American Diabetes Association.
