My deepest sympathy to Patsy and Jennifer.I will miss seeing John with his breakfast group, you didn't have to see if he was there you could hear his laugh. I'm so lucky I got to wait on him for as long as I did. He will be greatly missed by me and his breakfast group,it won't be the same without him.

So sorry about John's passing to glory. We will miss him so much. It seemed as if John was the only person that could set the Handbell Choir mic's accurately when we played. What a great guy!

Jennifer and Mrs. Hermann,

I have such fond memories of this special man. From the time we were little girls being driven to the Shriner's Circus in Houston until the last time I saw him, he was always so loving and kind. I will miss our chats in the store and his wonderful smile and chuckle! I am grateful to have known him and he will always be "Daddy John" to me!

Big Big hugs,
Caryn

Patsy and Jennifer our sincere sympathy on the loss of John. It was always so much fun to “wheel and deal” with him on my furniture purchases. I’m still using all of it! Recently two of my grandchildren had the privilege of working for John. They loved him! He will be missed in downtown Brenham!

Words fail us to express our sorrow and shock. John was a downtown fixture...an icon of local ownership and pride. My memories go beyond the store...all the way back to living on Atlow Drive and sharing families. Too often we take people for granted...not remembering that tomorrow isn't promised. May it comfort you to know that John made a difference in his life...that we care and keep you in prayer. Cherish your memories and continue his legacy.
Love,
Mary Lou and Roger
