John Locke

John Locke found his way to his real home into the loving embrace of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 5, 2022. He rested peacefully in knowing he was soon to be reunited with many friends and family who finished their race ahead of him. He was especially eager to meet up with his granddaughter, Sloan Olivia Schubert, who he has missed for nine years.

He held dearly to his countless fond memories of those he had known, befriended and worked with throughout his life and he especially valued all the wisdom he had gleaned from each and every one.

John was a good man in every way that matters. He deeply loved, fiercely protected and faithfully supported his wife, Terri, of 39 years. John’s faith was contagious, his laughter easy and his cheerful countenance a gift to many.

Left behind for now missing him terribly and trying to continue his goodness are his daughters and sons Jessica and Chad Walters, Jamie and Brady Schubert and Julie and Justin Krebs and grandchildren Ryan Walters (special friend Holly), Grace Walters, Ayla and Briggs Schubert and Kaebry and Cooper Krebs, and wife Terri.

Visitation will be from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Brenham Memorial Chapel located at 2300 Stringer Street, Brenham, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Brenham Memorial Chapel with the interment to follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Dirk Weatherly, Mike Burnham, Chad Walters, Brady Schubert, Justin Krebs and Ryan Walters. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Sallach, Jason Noska and the employees of Emerson PIC Brenham.
