Johnnie E. Kramer

Johnnie E. Kramer, 91, of Brenham passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 in College Station Medical Center.

Johnnie was born July 23, 1920 in Kenney, TX to parents Fritz and Emma (Berger) Kramer. On April 28, 1946 he was united in marriage to Lillie Mae Naumann in St. Paul Lutheran Church at Philipsburg. Johnnie served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps in England and Scotland during World War II. Johnnie was a sheet metal fabricator working in the oil & gas equipment manufacturing industry for Texsteam, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Donald Ray Kramer, sisters Irene King and Hilma Priesmeyer.

Survivors include his wife Lillie Mae Kramer of Brenham; son Ken Kramer and wife Diane of Austin; granddaughter Katherine Ann Kramer of Los Angeles, CA; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Ruby Naumann of Brenham, Lee Roy Meier and wife Nora of Kenney and Ruth Kelling of Brenham along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-7p.m., Sunday, January 15th in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, January 16th in Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Walt Schindehette, officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
