What a full life my Uncle Johnny lived! I learned things from this obituary and wished I had known to talk about his experiences. My memories of him during my youth is a fun-loving guy. He always had a smile for me, and he would engage with me while we visited. When he laughed, it was loud! Not unusual for the entire family though, including me. It was not often that we spent time together, the last time being at his 90th birthday gathering at his and Aunt Lucy's farm. I told him I'd see him at his 100th birthday party, and I'm sad we didn't get the opportunity. My condolences and prayers to all my cousins on losing Uncle Johnny.
