I am sad to have lost Jerry.
I know him from the nursing home where he helped care for my mother. They hit it off quite well and he was our favorite nurse. He had one up on all of the other nurses as she may have thought he was her youngest son, also Jerry. The last time I saw him, he walked down the hall with mom and me. He told me a funny story about something that had happened that morning. Then he asked mom about it and she said it wasn't right. We all laughed... she has very late stage alzheimer's disease.
He was a kind and gentle soul and I will always remember him as a fantastic man. Thank you Jerry for all you did for mom.

Jerry was a nursing student who I taught. He was an outstanding student! In recent years when Jerry was still in practice I had the privilege of him caring for a family member. Jerry was gifted and I saw he had the ability to connect his head and heart as he provided care to his patients.
Blessings to his family.

Jerry will be deeply missed in his service to St. Mary’s. He was a faithful Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, both at church and to the homebound. My sincere condolences to all family and friends. Rest in the peace of the Lord, Jerry!
