Katie Seibert

Katie Seibert age 93 of Brenham passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007 in College Station Medical Center.

She was born January 5, 1914 to Otto and Hedwig Roesler Roehling in the Zionsville Community. Katie was baptized April 26, 1914 by Rev. M. Haag and confirmed Palm Sunday, March 24, 1929 by Rev. Karl Mueller both at Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville. She attended Longpoint School. Katie married Conrad Paul Seibert and was a devoted homemaker. She loved gardening and her dogs.

Katie was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Gay Hill.

Katie was preceded in death by her husband Conrad Paul Seibert on April 11, 1975, son James David Seibert and brother-in-law Alfred Bentke.

Her loving family includes: sister, Rosie Bentke of Houston; brother, Melvin Stegmann of Brenham; niece, Kathy Dromgoole and her husband Willie; great niece and great nephews, Jennifer, Wayne and Dustin Dromgoole; great-great niece and great-great nephew, LeAnn and Lance Dromgoole.

Visitation with the Seibert family will be Monday, July 30, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 31 at 4 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Virgil Pecht officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Willie Dromgoole, Dustin Dromgoole, Fred Blum, Kermit Hugo, Jim Marshall and Freddie Brending. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilfred Schumacher and Wayne Dromgoole.
