To the Kim Coker family;

My deepest condolences on the loss of such a wonderful man. Take comfort in the love and memories he left behind. And know that Kim is up there with a magnificent view of all the land now and I am sure, like others have stated, he has a plan to show God to help improve the land of our country. An awesome guy who will be greatly missed.

Gone but not forgotten. When God calls us he has a reason. I bet he needs Kims knoledge of fertilizer to keep the Heavens green. You taught a lot of people how to move fertilizer fair and honestly and we will miss you not just as a co worker but as a friend. From three generations of Eastwoods and 30 plus years thank you and God bless you and your family.

It was a privilege to meet and work with Kim starting 3 years ago. I admired his leadership of personnel in Texas and the way he calmly approached the many decisions that needed to be addressed. My condolences go out to all family and friends.

From the nursery at the Methodist Church through high school, I had the pleasure to have Kim as my best friend while growing up in Turkey. Although Kim experienced the bumps and bruises many young farm boys face (mini bike wrecks, pellet gun shot in the foot—that my dad removed with a knife), he was positive and a joy to be around.

Kim was at our house or I was at the Coker’s almost every week. I loved to go to Ann’s to eat charcoal grill cooked meals! Kim and I often ventured to the neighboring grass pastures and made ‘hideouts’. We also vacationed together and ventured into the wilderness and enjoyed hours of fishing at Cowles, NM.

Kim was more athletic than I was. He excelled at Tennis and Basketball and was very tough in football. I recall the time the coach sent him into the middle of a game as quarterback (with no practice) and Kim was so excited, he called the signals in the huddle with his teeth guard in his mouth. No one knew the plays for that entire series.

We sometimes worked together on each other’s farms. Frequently, Kim would stop by our barns on the way to their field at Wool Flat. He would join in whatever chores Scott and I happened to be engaged in without complaint. More often than not, if we met each other driving down the road, we would stop and discuss whatever we happened to be doing at the time.

In high school, we enjoyed shooting rabbits and coyotes from his Jeep while jumping terraces in pastures.

Lisa and Makenzie, although Kim and I were not close in recent years, and our families have been separated by many miles, Virginia and I share in your great loss and lift you up in prayer. Brenda and Linda, I know you will miss your brother.

Kim was a person of integrity—even in his childhood and youth. I am reminded of Jesus’ command to let your yes be yes and your no be no (Mt. 5:37). That is Kim’s legacy.

To Mr. Coker's Family,
I read Mr. Coker's obituary in the paper from Monroe, La. I never met Mr. Coker, but thought he might be related to friends named Coker in Baytown, Texas and shared his obit with my friend. My friend and I shared thoughts of what an interesting, upstanding, and dedicated man he was. I wish you could have enjoyed more time with him. I am sorry he passed away at such a young age. May God bless and keep you all and watch over your family in the days and years to come.
With Sympathy,

Kim and I worked together on an international trade case, which with Kim's help we were able to prevail and get a favorable ruling from the ITC. We also worked together for many years both outside and inside the JR Simplot Company. Kim truly had unique insights and I always valued his input. My condolences to the Family and Friends that Kim supported over the years. May God Bless you in this time of loss. Dean TV

I knew Kim when he was just a senior in high school. He has always been a good kid that his parents were very proud of. I taught with both of his parents and they always had a gleam of pride in their eyes when talking about Kim. May God bless his family and be with them during their grieving. God bless and keep you.
