Koy Bright Scheiner - Guestbook

I wanted to express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of Koy. While I never met him, I dealt with him on a project we had together thru Gamma Construction (I was the AIA Biller).

He was always great to deal with and I enjoyed our interactions. I was sad to learn today 1-31-2020 that he had passed. Cancer is ugly and takes too many good people.

I am glad to know he loved God so we are sure of his eternal home.

Once again, I'm so sorry for his passing.

Dear Brenda,
Paula and Kenneth Moerbe here. It has been many years since I served as one of your pastors at St. Paul's in Brenham. We left in 1996 when I accepted a call to a congregation in Waco, and we returned in 2016 to be nearer our son, Ross, who lives on the west side of Houston. Anyway, I was very saddened to read about Koy's death last week's Banner-Press. I remember him as a great kid and am so sorry he died at a comparatively young age. Please know that I am praying for you all in these days as you grieve his death. It appears he had much support from friends and others in his time of struggle with cancer. May the Lord keep you all! Peace, Kenneth Moerbe

I worked with Koy at Gamma for many years and we had so many great times & memories made. Koy was a stand up guy that was never loud, but not shy of telling you his opinion. Koy will be greatly missed!
My Prayers go out to all his family and close friends.

Our condolences and love to Chick and Stacy. We’ve known Chick for 36 years and he always shared stories of his boys. It was great when Koy came to Germany for a visit too. Todd went on a fishing trip with Koy and Chick to Rockport and had such a good time. We pray the memories will help give the family peace and comfort.

Koy did indeed shine bright! I am so grateful that he was part of our lives - ever since those Aggie days! He was such a wonderful friend to Wayne and someone my children loved, too. He was fun and loving and just such a good, solid man. He leaves a hole as big as Texas!
He was truly loved and he will be greatly missed.

With heartfelt condolences,
