Larry Wayne Granzin, Sr.

Larry Wayne Granzin Sr., age 79, passed away on May 21, 2026 following a lengthy illness.

Larry was born in Walburg, Texas, the son of Adolph and Sophie Granzin.
He spent most of his life in Texas and after 30 years with IBM, he retired and moved to Colorado with his wife Peggy, where they managed a large apartment complex for 10 years. In 2018 Larry and Peggy moved back to Texas where they settled in Chappell Hill. He lived life with purpose and being productive made him very happy. He was always willing to lend a hand, and his family would tell you that he knew how to fix anything. Building projects were at the top of his list, and the many projects he completed are a testament of his skill and love. There was nothing his family could imagine that he could not create. This is a profound loss and he will be sorely missed.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph, whose memories remain a treasured part of the family.

Larry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy; son Wayne and his wife Leslie, of Chappell Hill, Texas; and Granddaughter Gaelin Helfer, of Round Rock, Texas.

Larry was content in life and requested services not be held. Instead, honor him with your memories, hug someone you love, but most of all enjoy life and all that God offers you every single day.
