La Verne was a great person. I remember back to the days at Artesian Park and swimming in that cold spring fed pool. The good ole times at Burton High. It is just so many fond memories of spending time with her and Mike.

I am honored and blessed to have known LaVerne. She was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss her. My condolences.

My first memory Of Laverne is Working with her at Maddox Furniture company, She was always smiling, and had a kind word for everyone, and loved to joke with people, I can still hear her laugh and see her smile. She was truly one of a kind I am grateful to have gotten to know her and thankful to call her my friend. Rest in peace my sweet friend.
